Following a recent security breach at our project in South Africa, we are taking immediate steps to better protect our facilities, staff, and resources. Our current needs include building a secure storage facility, providing specialized training for our security team, and upgrading our electrified fence and alarm systems, for a total need of $10,500. Your investment in these critical improvements will help create a safer environment for everyone we serve.

This past weekend, Henry and Diane had the privilege of ministering at Comunidad Cristiana Gracia y Verdad in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Mexico, where they were warmly welcomed by Pastor Jonathan and Gabby Garcia. During their visit, Henry encouraged entrepreneurs and business leaders, trained church leaders and the mission team, and shared God’s Word during two Sunday services, bringing encouragement and vision to the congregation.

Our construction team has just returned from South Africa where they made great progress on the Dunamis House & Training Centre in the village of Shigamani. This future facility will provide a place for ministry, training, and community outreach for years to come. Alongside the construction work, the team also encouraged the local community through youth ministry, worship, and fellowship with families. Additionally they experienced South African culture by visiting the Giyani market, making pap, and spending time at a game ranch.

Henry and a team from the Worship Center in Pennsylvania recently traveled to our Empower Shigamani project in South Africa, where they served alongside our local community through construction at the Dunamis House, children's ministry, leadership training, and church outreach. From baptizing new believers to sharing meals and experiencing South African culture, the trip was filled with meaningful moments that strengthened relationships and advanced the work God is doing in Shigamani.

On April 19, our annual event was held in New Providence, Pennsylvania. This gathering continues to play a vital role in advancing our mission to empower lives across the globe. We are thankful to God for what He is doing and for the incredible people who made it all possible.

Our construction team has just returned from an impactful journey in Shigamani Village, South Africa. They began by installing a hood vent in our bakery and made meaningful progress on the Dunamis House & Training Center. Beyond construction, the team connected deeply with the community—teaching jiu-jitsu classes, sharing meals, and building relationships with the men of the village. The trip concluded with a peaceful retreat on a nearby game farm, offering a refreshing and well-earned end to their mission.

Our ministry team from Pennsylvania has just returned from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, after a powerful and impactful trip. They served in local projects, communities, schools, and churches, sharing their testimonies and the love of Christ while also providing hands-on support and essential donations. While they went to bless others, it became clear that their own lives were deeply transformed as well. The trip concluded with a short time of rest in Ilha Grande, making it a meaningful and refreshing end to their mission.

Our construction team has completed a meaningful season in Shigamani village and is now heading home. They made great progress on the Dunamis House, finishing the surrounding walls and part of the interior walls, while also investing in the community through youth activities, church services, and a children’s outreach. After long, productive days, they ended the trip with a time of rest enjoying the local wildlife.

This month, Henry welcomed a teaching team from the U.S. to serve in Shigamani village, South Africa. They preached, led people to freedom in Christ, encouraged renewed faith, and invested in youth and couples through teaching and fellowship. Pastor Chris and Pastor Larry ministered during Sunday service and strengthened local leaders, while Grey connected with the children through games and activities. The team also embraced the local culture and explored the Limpopo region.

Our second delivery vehicle for the Shigamani bakery was purchased and will be a great addition to expand the routes, achieving even further reach!

Over the first weeks of January, Henry welcomed a team from Pennsylvania to work on the initial stages of building the Dunamis House. Hands-on the job, the team was able to dig the foundations for the house, and we hope to begin raising the walls soon!

Through the hands and feet of many volunteers like this team, God is blessing the village of Shigamani with growth and sustainability for future generations!

Our new water well was drilled today. We ended up with 38 meters (125 feet) and 1,500 gallons per hour.

This has been a year of progress and transformation in Shigamani, South Africa. Henry has traveled to the village almost on a monthly basis to oversee the many initiatives happening there. We also had teams join us to teach and carry out construction projects. Every visit reminds us why we started this journey—to empower the local people to reach their full potential and to create opportunities that bring lasting change.

Our community’s well has dried up — and we need to act fast.

Everything that Dunamis Connections accomplished in South Africa has only been possible because of people. Passionate travelers invested their time and talents to serve, generous donors contributed financially, and countless partners have prayed for us. It has always been about people.
