June Worship Center Team to South Africa
Henry and a team from the Worship Center in Pennsylvania traveled to our Empower Shigamani project in South Africa. Over the last few days, they have helped with construction work at the Dunamis House, hosted a special day for children, and led teaching sessions for men, women, couples, and our staff (we currently have more than 20 employees).
At church, they also had the opportunity to baptize several people, including some of our employees.
During these teaching sessions, our friends Dado and Eliana—who usually prepare Brazilian barbecue at our events in Pennsylvania—provided barbecue for the local people, and they absolutely loved it.
Before returning home, they had the chance to make and eat pap (a traditional dish made from maize meal), try chicken feet, and relax at a game ranch, where they enjoyed seeing the local wildlife.
