One of the poorest and least developed countries in the world, Haiti, has struggled in recent years with problems ranging from near-constant political upheaval, health crises, severe environmental degradation and an annual barrage of hurricanes, which killed an estimated 800 people and caused vast damage in 2008.On Jan. 12, 2010, a massive earthquake struck Haiti, reducing much of its capital to rubble. It was the worst earthquake in the region in more than 200 years, with as many as 50,000 feared dead. The people of Haiti desperately need our help at this time.

We have partnered with several organizations to help with relief effort and ongoing rebuilding for the country of Haiti. We are currently looking to ship 8 x 12 houses to Haiti. These houses will consist of four walls and a roof. For many of the Haitian people this will actually be a better dwelling than what they lived in before. The cost of manufacturing these and shipping them to Haiti will be $600.

How can you be involved?

1. By helping to manufacture these houses, we want to ship several thousand as soon as possible. We would provide the plans, it is a very simple storage shed like building.

2. By being a part of a team going to Haiti. If you don't want to fly in an airplane, we have made arrangements by ship from Miami. We will assist you in obtaining your passport, and any other documentation that you would need to make this voyage.

3. By getting involved financially. We need finances to purchase the material for these houses and also for the logistics of getting them to Haiti.
